Children’s Programs

Programs at the library are free and drop in, unless specifically stated. Caregivers are expected to stay with their children during all storytime programs. Please check the calendar for program dates.

Wonderful Wednesdays

Designed for preschool aged children, these programs offer stories, songs, finger plays and simple crafts. Stories last for about ½ hour, and are followed by crafts and activities for all to enjoy. Children who are not yet able to sit through storytime are welcome to join us just for the craft and activity portion.

Toddler Time
Not held in December, April or August
Fridays 10:30 AM-Noon
Ages birth to 36 months
Meets in the Buchanan Auditorium

Designed for children under three and their caregivers, this mini-story time and specialized play group introduces developmentally appropriate books, toys and social interactions. Toys include riding toys, an activity table, a play kitchen, puzzles, musical toys & more. A selection of library materials for children & their parents is available for checkout in the auditorium.
