Tellabration is a mammoth storytelling event- and that’s no Tall Tale! It’s a storytelling phenomenon, made up of dozens of storytelling happenings all over the world. Its purpose is to introduce people of all ages to the pleasures of the oral art of storytelling.  It is one of the programs offered by The Connecticut Storytelling Center, based at Connecticut College in New London.

Mansfield Public Library will host Tellabration for a family audience on Saturday, November 17 at 10:30 AM.  Anne-Marie Forer, performing as “Apple Annie,” will present some delicious fun featuring fall stories, songs and activities  A former teacher, music teacher and children’s librarian, Anne-Marie loves performing for young children. She plays a variety of instruments, sings, uses puppets, tells lots of stories and knows how to keep everyone entertained. For more information about Anne-Marie visit http://www.tunes-n-tales.com.
