Li Liu was born in Shenyang China, and began acrobatic training at age 6. She attended the Chinese National Circus School, training 8 hours a day until she was 16 while completing her regular school work in the evenings. She has been living in the U.S. since 2003 and now works as a freelance performer who dazzles audiences in a wide variety of venues from schools to NBA halftime shows!  Her show includes hand balancing, plate spinning, trick cycling, foot juggling, ribbon dancing and Chinese water bowl manipulation. Li also touches on various aspects of Chinese language, geography and culture while sharing her work and travel experiences.  For more information visit

All our programs will be outside this summer. You are encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. Masks are required inside the building and for outside activities when we are gathered together in a group. Please remember this is a public space; we all are experiencing different comfort levels as we increase our activities. We want everyone to feel safe coming to the Library.

Outside programming means possible weather cancellations; please understand that for some of our performers wind is as much of a problem as rain. For some performers you will see a designated rain date; for others the date will be determined. If we have to reschedule we will find a date as close to the original date as possible. Sign up for our email/text alerts to receive up to date information about Library programs.
