Meditation and Yoga

Mansfield Public Library will once again offer a free meditation and yoga course in the Buchanan Auditorium, thanks to the generosity of community member and library patron Blanche Johnson. The course is developed to support those interested to establish and/or deepen their meditation and yoga practice and knowledge. The course will go beyond the familiar physical postures (asanas), and will offer instructions also in mudras, bandhas, pranayama, mantra meditation, yogic diet, kriyas, and yogic life style. Come and develop your own yoga practice, and enjoy a happier, healthier life.  Mediation and Yoga will be offered on the following Wednesday mornings:  September 5, 12, 19, October 31, November 7, 14, 21, 28 and December 5, 12, 19, & 26.

Blanche Johnson is a yoga teacher with over 20 years of yoga practice in the tradition of Patanjali. Her eclectic knowledge and personal experience combined with humor will leave you inspired and energized. This program is open to anyone interested in meditation and yoga or just in a happier, healthier life; no previous experience necessary.
