Eastern Highlands Health District (EHHD) weekly monitoring of bathing water quality for Bicentennial pond concluded the bacteria levels to be above the considered satisfactory levels. Due to the water quality we will be closing swimming at Bicentennial Pond to both the camp and public until water quality levels are back to a satisfactory level. EHHD will continue to test the pond water quality daily. Once the water quality meets satisfactory levels, we will be informed, and the pond will reopen.
