The October 1, 2024 town-wide Revaluation of all real property within the Town of Mansfield is nearing completion. Pursuant to the provisions of Connecticut General Statutes (C.G.S.) §12-62 inclusive, the assessor is required to update town-wide real property assessments to reflect current market valuations every five years.
The next phase of the Revaluation process in Mansfield includes informal hearings. Working year property record cards are available to view or print online: https://www.axisgis.com/mansfieldct/ . Search by property owner’s name, address or parcel ID to access them. Final revaluation assessment notices will be mailed within 10 days after the assessor signs and certifies the October 1, 2024 Grand List, which must be completed by the end of February.
If you have any questions regarding your property card, or wish to discuss your property features, please schedule an informal hearing with Tyler Technologies – our revaluation company. During your telephone meeting, their appraisers will discuss your property’s market value and make any necessary changes to the assessment data listed on your property record card. Informal hearings are helpful to correct any errors or omissions in compiled data before final assessments are completed. They will not be able to discuss taxes or estimated tax bills because the mill rate will not be set until the Annual Town Meeting on May 13, 2025.
If you have questions, telephone appointments for Informal Hearings must be scheduled by Tuesday, January 14 at 4 PM.
Appointments can be scheduled online at or by calling Tyler Technologies at (844) 794-4159 between 8:30 AM and 4 PM, Monday – Friday. Please note that the deadline for scheduling a hearing is Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 4PM.
Informal telephone hearings will be held January 13 to 17, and January 20-23. Any information you wish the revaluation company to consider can be dropped off at the Mansfield Assessor’s Office or emailed to mansfieldreval@outlook.com no less than three days before your telephone appointment.
Please know that informal hearings will not be the only opportunity to talk about your assessments with a representative. A formal appeals process continues through the spring, and will be communicated once final assessment notices are distributed.
