Season of Giving Campaign 2025


Each year, Mansfield Human Services launches their Season of Giving campaign to support both seasonal and year round initiatives to support our community members in need. Stuff-A-Cruiser Toy Drive

at Winter Welcome

  • Saturday, Dec. 6
  • 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM
  • on Betsy Paterson Square in Downtown Storrs (2 Dog Lane)

Help the Mansfield Resident State Troopers stuff their cruiser during Winter Welcome!

The Troopers will be stationed near Betsy Paterson Square to collect new, unwrapped gifts and toys. 

Suggested items include:

  • Toys for all ages, including teens
  • Winter coats and snow suits
  • Stocking stuffers
  • Gift cards for local businesses

All donated items will be distributed to Mansfield families in need.

Flea Market & Food Drive

Find some new treasures and give back to our community: Bring a nonperishable donation to the Mansfield Marketplace on Sunday, Nov. 23 and receive free buyer parking! Donations will support the Covenant Soup Kitchen.

The market will be open from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM, and then will close for the season.

If your Mansfield-located business or community organization has plans for a charitable campaign, food drive, or volunteer opportunity occurring between mid-November and mid-January, let us know!

We will include only events, etc. that are open to the public (e.g. no members' only events) and that will take place in Mansfield, CT.

There is no fee to be included in "Merry Mansfield" - we just need your info!
