Electronic Resources

The Mansfield Public Library offers patrons a variety of digital services for use on their computers, smartphones, and tablets. Mansfield residents can access any of these services for free with their library card; others may need to seek access through the library in the town where they live.

Interlibrary Loan

Can’t find what you’re looking for in our catalog? Mansfield residents with a valid public library card may request materials not owned by the Library, but are available outside the library’s consortium through the interlibrary loan process. Click here to request an interlibrary loan.

Loan Periods

All materials are freely available without restriction to all library patrons. The Mansfield Library does not charge overdue fines on any item types. 

  • Books, Audiobooks, Kits, Puzzles, Toys, Board Games, Music CDs: 3 weeks.   
  • New Juvenile Books: 3 weeks.
  • Multi-disc DVD sets & Nonfiction DVDs: 2 weeks. All other DVDs: 1 week. 
  • New Adult Books, New Audiobooks, Magazines: 2 weeks. 
  • Electronic Devices: 2 weeks. 
  • Cake Pans, Tools, Backpacks: 1 week.
  • Passes to CT State Parks & Beardsley Zoo: 1 week. All other Museum Passes are reserved for the day of the visit through Museum Key.

Did you know you can borrow museum passes from the Mansfield Public Library?  Museum passes may be booked by anyone with a valid Connecticut library card.
