Seasonal Programs
The Human Services Department has a variety of income based programs to helps assist Mansfield residents throughout the year.
The Betsy Hamill Memorial Campership Fund provides camp scholarships to Mansfield youth in need thanks to generous donations from members of the community. 
Applicants will be asked for the following information:
- 1. Proof of residency for a minimum of 6 months
- 2. Income statements for all eligible income earners
- 3. Tax returns statements
- 4. Other documentation may be requested as required.

Back to School program
The Department of Human Services provides our Back-to-School Program, which helps families by providing school supplies and assistance to purchase other back to school necessities.
If you or your household currently participates in the Town of Mansfield Fee Waiver Program, you automatically qualify for the Back to School Program and do not need to submit additional information with the attached application.
If you do not participate in the Fee Waiver Program, eligibility is based on residency and income. The application outlines these requirements, which you can access below.

The Mansfield Human Services department recognizes all holidays that are celebrated throughout the year through our seasonal assistance application. We recognize how stressful this time can be for families in need and we want you to know we are here to help make things easier.
The seasonal assistance program has been revitalized with the understanding that many of our families celebrate various traditions over the coming months. This year we will be matching each family with a sponsor to provide gifts and other supports for the holidays. If a family is not matched with a sponsor, gift cards and/or gifts will be provided.
Resident households must be under 60% of the state AMI to qualify. Applicants must provide documentation showing all sources of income for all persons domiciled in the household.
Please completely fill out and send application by Friday, November 14th, 2025. Unfortunately, we will not be able to process or guarantee applications received after this date.
