Group Music
Are you interested in joining a Community Band? For intermediate-level musicians of any age, regardless of band experience. Whether you have played in your school band, participated in Suzuki groups, or have only played solo, this is a great step to develop skills of working in a group band setting. Participants must be able to read music and should have at least 2 years’ experience on their instrument (percussion, brass, and woodwind). The program will be adjusted to the needs and abilities of the group, and may include chamber music breakout sessions or full ensemble work. The program season will end with a performance for family and friends!
Community Band typically meets in the Summer months, more details to come!
New! Circle Singing (Ages 12-Adult)
Circle Singing is an opportunity to explore your singing voice in a safe, informal, and mistake-free environment. Through the use of chant, call-and-response, easy-to-learn songs, and improvisation, a singing circle group is accessible to beginning singers, but can also challenge the experienced vocalist. These gatherings are fun and community building, as well as a chance to gain confidence in singing. Open to all ability levels. Registration required, register for one or all three sessions.
